My heart is so broken learning a high school classmate of mine committed suicide… Couple days after her husband passed away due to illness, not knowing where to turn for emotional and financial support, she took her own life…Their bodies will be laid to rest tomorrow. With prayers and donations -big and small, our class have come together to comfort and help the grieving children. I made this video clip in memory of my classmate, Nida. This whole day, she has occupied much of my thoughts. I was trying to feel her pain, sorrow, and hopelessness at those moments when she was tying the rope around her neck... I wanted to erase that scene in my mind, changing it to a different scenario where I was with her that night, holding her hand sharing her the love of our Lord Jesus, telling her that her sorrow and problems matter to Him, and singing this song: 'Tomorrow'...
"My sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow
There'll be sun! Just thinking about tomorrow, clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow 'til there's none! When I'm stuck in a day
That's gray, and lonely,I just stick out my high chin and grin, and say,...
The sun will come out tomorrow So ya gotta hang on 'til tomorrow
Come what may Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always a day away...."
Oh, may we take all the opportunities to reach out to a suffering friend, to a crying and dying soul. Life is precious and beautiful, inspite of its many trials and tribulations...
